Automation Engineer (Industrial Contractor)

Location : Melbourne, Australia


  • Respond to production support needs related to automation
  • Provide timely engineering analyses for resolving production problems that are related to automating processes, utility equipment and/or systems supporting manufacturing operations.
  • Design, develop & implement controls systems to support manufacturing
  • Formulate, submit for approval, execute and evaluate validation protocols, capability studies and engineering tests for all new or modified production and process automation
  • Demonstrate an awareness of regulatory requirements through appropriate development of IOQ and ECO testing, and accurate and complete documentation in all activities


  • B.S. degree in Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline
  • Experience in a fast pace manufacturing setting is a must
  • “Hands-on” experience in the automation engineering field. Hands on experience in the following control systems – PLCs / SCADA / Building Automation Systems

Reporting to the Managing Director, your main responsibility is to support pre-sales pursue and proposal writing, interaction with clients professionally and delivers quality project implementation as well as supports after-sales services.

You will be working with a team of engineers locally and with our regional offices to ensure a highest quality of results in our daily pursue.

Senior Control Systems Engineer

Location : Illinois, USA

As partners with key system suppliers and a substantial customer base, we have new requirements to fill a position within our Automation group in Illinois. Our industries involve water, manufacturing, O &G but mostly pharmaceuticals.


Reporting to the Control Systems Manager you will have assistance from our lead engineers but would be required to work independently and take on the responsibilities of projects and customers. Ordinary tasks include DCS/PLC/SCADA System design and configuration. May need to work with other control systems such as Rockwell, Schneider, Emerson, etc. May also involve database design and management. Industrial Electrical design knowledge will be helpful. Programming languages such as Visual Basic, C Sharp and C/C++ may be used.

The role will be interacting directly with our clients and managing these relationships. You would require a personable attitude, willingness to learn, independence and strong problem solving skills to solve and implement control system solutions according to customer requirements. This opportunity’s remuneration will depend on experience with a minimum experience of 7 years in the industry.
